Baltic Guitar Quartet and Guy D. Tuneh to perform world premiere pieces.

Double Bass Soloist Guy D. Tuneh in his first „Cross-over“ project, joined together with Baltic Guitar Quartet in December 2010 to perform in an unusual ensemble, Guitar Quartet and Double Bass, The result, six new works to be performed on Double Bass. Three pieces for Double Bass as Solo and three as an accompanying instrument.

Baltic Guitar Quartet members, Zigmas Èepulënas & Chris Ruebens arranged for this special event five pieces, which become to be prformed as world premiere;

Rossini, La Danza – First time ever on Double Bass and to be accompanied by Guitar Quartet
(arranged by Èepulënas).

Bruch, Kol Nidrei – First time ever for Double Bass accompanied by Guitar Quartet
(arranged by Èepulënas).

Metallica, Enter sandman & the unforgiven for Double Bass and Guitar Quartet
(arranged by Èepulënas).

Summerdance originally writen by C. Ruebens, this time for Double Bass & Guitar Quartet, with Double Bass solo as an introduction.

Paganini’s Cantabile as „Only For Bass“ premiere. Double Bass Soloist Guy D. Tuneh was performing an un-transcribed version of Paganini’s Cantabile for Violin D-Dur Op. 17 (or as Mr. Tuneh prefer to approach and to name this work after having in mind - „crying angles“...) first time ever on Double Bass, Mr. Tuneh was accompanied by Baltic Guitar Quartet member - Sergej Krinicin.
